Items for Resale: Have a piece of furniture you no longer need? Looking to de-clutter or cleaning out your closet? Drop your gently used items off at any of our thrift stores! 100% of the proceeds go to support the mission of New Generation: to offer shelter and services to pregnant or parenting homeless women and their children.
When can you drop off donations?
Donations can be brought in during Second Generation Thrift Shoppe open hours on Monday through Saturday.

What is “gently used”?
Gently used means that all clothing is like new and/or has been washed. All clothing is clean and free of stains. All clothing where applicable, has all fasteners in good working condition, working zippers, no frayed edges, no pilling, with seams and hems that are intact.
Items for our Wish List
In addition to items for re-sale in our thrift stores, we’re always looking for specific items we need at our shelter. Right now, we really could use:
Baby wipes
Diapers: size 3, 4, 5
Liquid hand soap, dishwasher detergent, dish soap
Gift certificates to Target, Market Basket, Wal-Mart and home improvement stores (Home Depot & Lowe’s)
Good Start formula
A new computer
Pre-paid phones and phone cards (Tracfone preferred)
Paper towels, toilet paper and napkins
Gas cards from local gas stations
Laundry detergent and baby laundry detergent
Staples, OfficeMax, or other office supply gift cards
Household cleaners (environmentally friendly preferred but not required)
Fitted crib sheets
Batteries (AA & AAA most needed)
